perfect, silent location, very friendly personel, tasty breakfest. It's difficult to complain. I can recommend this hotel for a short as well as long stay in Prague. You should be prepared for a long up-hill return from the old-town area unless you take a taxi. The hotel is located practically on the highest point of Prague.

We just spent three nights at Domus Henrici and loved the experience. The hotel is very charming and clean, and the staff is extremely helpful, kind, and patient. It is on the hill by the castle, so all the crowds leave when the castle closes. The area then is very quiet, and there are several nice restaurants within easy, safe walking distance. The driver they provided, Milan, was also extremely helpful and informative and made travel to and from train station and airport easy and comfortable.

Not a great deal more I can add that has not already been said. A superb hotel, wonderful room, view to match. The staff were very helpful. The room was kept spotlessly clean by the staff. 3 nights that were perfect!

We booked room 6 at this hotel based on TA reviews, we were not disappointed. Location is in the Castle area (5 mins stroll) and so it will be downhill into the main town and uphill at the end of the day.
Room is excellent, large with huge double bed (which was firm but that's how I like it), small flat screen TV, large bathroom (corner style bath with shower over) and entrance area with wardrobe. This room is at the back of the property so was wonderfully quiet with views to the woods / fields and the Petrin tower above and across Prague to the left. Windows all opened for fresh air. The shared areas of the hotel are clean, tidy - breakfast room is spacious considering the small number of rooms here - it was never busy. There are also two terraces to sit on / breakfast at but it wasn't quite warm enough when we were there. The breakfast was good but not great - no warm option and more pastries would have been nice. This is a small point however and combined with the friendly service made this feel a special place to be for what we thought was a good value price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we visit and would recommend to anyone. Tip: get tram 22 to the top of the street when returning to the hotel at the end of the day and definitely request room 6 (unless I am there too!)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is at the top of the hill next to Prague Castle which means lots of stairs to navigate each day. Our room was very spacious. The breakfast was excellent and a lovely view from their patio. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff could not be more helpful, the room was lovely, breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the location is wonderful. My husband had stayed. 12 years earlier, and the place was even better than he remembered.

Domus Henrici is located near Prague Castle on a the hill overlooking Prague. The place is tiny and the staff very attentive. Our room was very comfortable and we were sorry to have to leave. We had an early morning flight and they even prepared breakfast for us to take to the airport.

The only caveat is that there are stairs and it is outdoors to get to some of the rooms. So if that is an issue ask what room you will get in advance.

OK so it is on top of the hill next to Prague Castle so to get down to the centre and back involves some steps (unless you take the 22 tram) but we loved the exercise, we loved the location, we loved the way the rooms are down the side of the hill, we loved the staff (Kamilla you made our stay with your happiness and "nothing too much trouble attitude", Only 8 rooms so never crowded.

Perfect place to stay! It's all very neat and comfortable and the staff is lovely. Make sure to enjoy a quiet cup of tea on the sunny terrace. The hotel's location is also excellent, although a bit of a hike up to the castle, if you're on foot.

We spent two nights at this lovely and welcoming hotel in Prague, at the start and at the end of our bike trip in Czech Republic and Austia. Well located close to the touristic center. Staff very kind and helpful in organizing our transport from the airport with our bikes and keeping our bags during our trip. Gorgeous room, spotless and well decorated, with a superb view of the valley and the city.

This gem of a B&B is at the top of the old city giving it wonderful views of the castle and the old city which are an easy downhill walk away although a doable but tiring walk uphill. Or a 22/23 tram back up the hill.
We had room 6 which has the most amazing view of the Petrin Tower and down into Prague. To get that view though, we had to walk down stairs and then back up stairs.
Their taxi driver helped us when checking in so it was only on the way out that we struggled – the price of staying in lovely, very very old buildings with no elevators – definitely worth it.
The room was huge and nicely decorated.
There was plenty of hanging space and the bathroom was big. The water was hot but the pressure was weak (again the price of staying in very old buildings with very old plumbing). Wifi worked throughout the room and on the terraces.
Breakfast could be taken in the dining room or on the terrace (take it there yourself) and was beautifully presented. The usual breads (really nice assortment), cheese, meats, tomato, capsicum, cereals, youghurts, hard boiled eggs, jams, juices, coffee and tea.
Both Magdelena and Karmilla were lovely.
Magdelena was a font of knowledge and suggestions when we first checkd in and Karmilla was always there in the morning to help with breakfast and ask if we had any queries.
If you are prepared to walk down and up again, then this is a beautiful place to stay with warm, helpful staff.
Just be aware of the stairs and luggage.
Definitely recommended.

We traveled to Prague from Munich by bus, which took around 4 hours but is faster than the train, and was easy and comfortable. The bus station is adjacent to Munich HBF train station, so it's easy to connect.

We took a taxi to the hotel to ask if we could leave our bags, since we wanted to go sightseeing and didn't want them in tow. Camila (Kamila?) greeted us enthusiastically, helped us sort out what to see and do, and secured our luggage. Her English is excellent, as are her recommendations!

Upon returning to the hotel, she escorted us down some stairs then up some others (this place has a cool maze quality to it!)

Our room was very spacious, had a great view and a large bathroom.

There is no air conditioning, but we had lots of windows and a nice cross breeze, so we were very comfortable.

Breakfast is included, and if you want to eat outside, there is a lovely terrace.

The Domus Henrici is just a short walk from the castle complex, which is a must see!

Again with a smile, Camila tended our bags after check out and arranged a driver to take us back to the station.

I hope to return to Prague and stay a big longer next time. Of course, I would stay at this hotel again!

This hotel was home away from home for my sister and I during our stay in Prague. The ladies in the front were amazing and so helpful. She even recognized that I was spending my birthday abroad. Breakfast was included and hit the spot and the rooms were spacious and clean. It was close to the Prague Castle, but you do need to head down a large amount of stairs (212 to be exact) to get to Charles Bridge and Old Town. It's a beautiful walk to the city though and the views are incredible. I would stay at Domus Henrici again and I would recommend it to travelers wanting a bed and breakfast feel that isn't far away from the excitement of the city.

Fabulous Hotel located behind Prague Castle. Beautiful spacious room, thoughtfully equipped with everything a traveller requires, including tea and coffee making equipment and supplies. Quiet rooms with shared balcony overlooking gardens. Best asset however, is the staff. Many thanks to Lucie, Karmila and Martina who made our stay so enjoyable and for all the assistance with restaurants, parking and suggestions for getting the best visit in Prague. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you all and for your gorgeous hotel.

Anne Charmine G

We were checked-in room number 8. From july 9-14. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable with beautiful view from the terrace. Good breakfast served every morning. The staff were really nice and very helpful. Close to tram 22, which stops to all the main attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I spent three nights at the Domus Henrici and were made to feel very much at home. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help us plan our sightseeing and make sure our time in Prague was enjoyable and incident free. The Domus Henrici will be our first choice the next time we are lucky enough to be able to visit the city.

Ann H

We spent a lovely 3 nights with friends and family at this hotel. Perfect hotel, perfect location. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Could not find any fault with this hotel during out short stay.

Tricia R

When we arrived we were pleasantly suprised to find our room had a comunal terraced area. It was lovely to sit out in the evening after walking about beautiful Prage and just sit out with a bottle of wine and enjoy the views. The room was very light and airy. Great place to stay, would highly recommend. One thing it is is up by the castle and it is a very steep hill but worth it.

jake S

My wife and I stayed 3 nights and will be returning as soon as we can.If you like beautiful views in tranquil surroundings then this is the place for you. Never made the breakfast as we slept in every morning due to the comfortable bed and the quiet. Great location and the staff are brilliant especially Katrina and Milan who picked us up from airport and looked after us very well.

Pat L

We spent a wonderful few days in Prague at this lovely hotel. it is immaculate, comfortable and the people are as pleasant and helpful as could be. The views are spectacular. Hope to return in future.

John D

The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the centre of Prague. 400 metres on the level from the castle. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, including tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar. The terrace at the back has views over parkland. It and the rooms are quiet. Breakfasts are good. Several decent restaurants are close by for evening meals. Staff are most helpful and speak good English. Secure parking is reasonably close, as is a tram stop that takes one to the centre. We would stay here again without question.

Stella D

Great location, luxurious setting and extremely friendly and helpful staff - all this at a reasonable price. I recommend this to everyone, who's looking for a nice, quiet stay. It's really close to the castle and at a walking distance from the most famous sights, but it is still very calm at night. Great view from the terrace, too!

The hotel is a real gem, escape from the noise of the city to peace and tranquility
The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good (take it outside to the terrace if weather permits the view is wonderful).
Restaurant next door is good value and you are perfectly placed for a stroll to the monastery.
Word of warning it is up a steep hill but you can catch the number 22 tram from the bottom and then a gentle wander down hill to the hotel
Would recommend staying here.

This was one of the most pleasant stays we have ever had. The staff go out of there way to help, all of them! The boutique hotel itself is beautiful and an experience of its own. Breakfast in the dining room with library and old fashioned chairs or on the terrace was the perfect start to the day. A short walk to the Prague Castle and a little bit further to the Charles Bridge and old city so very handy without being too close. We strolled up the hill to a restaurant overlooking Prague, simply beautiful. We can't recommend this place enough, just a great place to stay our 3 nights and such service from everyone .... and Prague!!!

A lovely lovely hotel, enjoyed all apsects- rooms, view, food + staff are just wonderful- an absolute pleasure to be here, would definately come back.

Great hotel for romantic weekend! We will come back.

We stayed at this B&B for a few days last summer. Prague is a pretty city to visit, but you will appreciate escaping to this hideaway near the castle. At night, it is very quiet. There is a restaurant next door that offers good value. You can take a little stroll after dinner w/o dealing with the daytime crowds. The hotel arranges parking in a private lot, but note that you will be asked to pay cash up front when you arrive (the hotel itself accepts credit cards.)

We asked for room 6 which is the best in the hotel. it is large (w a large bathroom), and has windows on all sides so that there is plenty of light, and plenty of cross breeze at night (it is on a hill so there is an updraft at the hotel as well). I would recommend springing for the extra few bucks it costs to rent this room. It's a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing in Prague. You also can use the terrace one floor below.

One of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in. It is almost like home. The location and view are spectacular. The warmth of the staff is over welcoming. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Sue S

The hotel was great - the room, the staff, the terrace and the location. It was exactly how it looked on the website! This is definitely the area of Prague to stay in - beautifully quiet in the evening but still lots going on and great places to eat and admire the fantastic view whilst eating dinner. We would both highly recommend it!

Lovely hoel, lovely weather, lovely stay :)

While we had rented an apartment "5 doors away", our one night's lodging was 'superb' ! Martina was extremely gracious and helpful. We would probably stay ONLY here if or when we return to Prague. We both give the Domus Henrici our highest recommendation! Dave & Sharon

This is a great hotel located in superb part of Prague. The sun made our stay even nicer.

Mann and Ralf, Germany

Two amazing days, we will come back!

A great home @ Prague Castle / at least for those who want to enjoy a little quiet beyond all the "downtown" stress. It truly is a "Hidden Place" and offers all the comfort you could expect after reading the website. This place is not "overdone", it is well done and gives you fine aura. Service is very friendly and manages tickets, pick-up-taxis, reservations,... Rooms are spacious and clean. 2 Terraces for everybody, great views, bird singing:)... Breakfast is fine – but could use some add ons. Over all one of the very best in Prague – especially for couples. Although there is no in-house restaurant or spa, you will definitely enjoy your stay – there is a nice restaurant just next door and plenty of high-end ones in Prague:).
Pricing? is really moderate in consideration what you get for. Depends on the room and season, there is always special offers / last minute prices / which reflect individual room vacancies.

My wife and I stayed just a couple of nights, but really enjoyed the hotel. The staff were all charming and very engaging. Our breakfasts were super delicious and complimentary! The hotel is literally steps away from the beautiful Prague Castle and the location is a short walk to old town. You definitely get a workout with the stairs on the return trip! The area is quiet, but has several sidewalk cafes within easy walking distance. It's a great location to enjoy all Prague has to offer, within walking distance! All for a decent price! We'd definitely stay there again!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is just out of the hub of things but very easy walking distance. (Though you do have to walk uphill from the main area back to the hotel) The rooms are amazing, Very big and spacious. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and all spoke very good English. Very good value for money and we will definitely return there someday..

Thank you for a delightful sty! Lovely!

We stayed at Domus Henrici from April 22 to April 26, 2014. The Hotel is small (8 rooms) and has a perfect location and view over the Petrin Hill for the visitor who prefers a quiet stay in the old part of the city, very close to the palace (5 min) and in walking distance (15 min) from the Charles bridge in central Prague. The service in the hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff is extremely helpful in any respect. Our (standard) room was clean and well equipped (hair dryer, morning coat, bar, safe, WIFI, electrical kettle for free tea and coffee, etc.) and actually consisted of a sleeping room and a small office room. The breakfast was abundant (coffee, tea, orange juice, yoghurt, cereals, rolls, toast, cheese, ham, etc.) and enjoyable. Two large terraces provide relaxing facilities with a beautiful view. The hotel provides a pick-up service from the airport for 22 Euro which we made use of on both arrival and departure (at 5:15 in the morning). The driver named Milan belongs to the staff and is very helpful. Overall, we can fully recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location away from the crowds in a quiet, scenic spot from where to hit Prague on foot and enjoy the lovely scenery and architecture, or by using a tram five minutes away, which allows you to take in many sights in passing. Another outstandig feature was the hospitable staff who were all extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Though our room did not boast one of the superior views described by others, its layout with a little entrance area and a separate study-like room gave it a very private, roomy feel. The minimalist décor and light colours were much appreciated on the one dark and rainy day spent more or less in the room. The large, nicely laid-out and flower-decorated patio/terrace in front was lovely to take in the beautiful view on sunny days. Would not stay anywhere else in Prague.

Wonderful stay in an amazing place! Very nice service and home feel. Highly recommended!

I was brought there as a guest so I didn't have a chance to review any comments or have a look at the pictures and... it was simply perfect. Cosy, spacious room with a really nice view.
What is also important is that the staff of the hotel spoke perfect English, were really nice and ready to help in any of the touristic topics you may have.
All in all I will recommend it to everyone and will be looking forward to coming there again.

I chose this place because of the location, the value, and the positive reviews here on Trip Advisor. Immediately after making our reservation, I was emailed by the hotel to confirm. I included a note that I was with my mother, and that we were hoping for a good view. I got a response within five minutes, confirming that we had a room with a view. They also asked if we wanted separate beds, since we were a mother and daughter staying together. I knew from that point that I had picked a good place.

When we arrived, the staff answered all of our questions and helped us get settled in our room. The room was nicely situated on a terrace overlooking a church and Petrin Hill Park- beautiful! It was very peaceful and quiet. I would also say that the mattresses are quite comfortable. I slept very well there.

In the mornings, the included breakfast was enough. Cold cuts, bread, boiled eggs, butter, jam, cheese, toast, yogurt, and juices are your choices. The hotel is also close to several restaurants, and the staff can tell you which to avoid.

A tip: if you're traveling here via the airport or train, book a driver with the hotel. It was so convenient, and the driver was very friendly and courteous. He carried our luggage as well, which was wonderful. He picked us up right at our train platform, and took us there on our departure day as well. It was much better than trying to navigate there ourselves on public transportation.

All in all, this was a great experience. The customer service here is so friendly and hospitable. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff will accommodate most wishes, if you only mention what you need. Our bags were carried down some stairs upon check-in, and departure, without us needing to ask! Thank you for the great service!

Lovely, quiet, wonderful location. Terrific service. Warm, helpful. Great breakfast. We will be back!

My partner and I first visited Prague in 2008. It was her birthday, and our first trip together. We stayed at Domus Henrici’s sister hotel Domus Balthasar, and loved it. When I decided to take her to Prague (one of our favourite places) for her birthday once again six years later, I was somewhat disappointed that Domus Balthasar did not have any availability. Considering how lovely our stay was at Balthasar, we thought that Henrici would be a good bet. Short story - Henrici will now be our go-to hotel for any future trip to Prague.
Domus Henrici is located up on the hill near the palace. It is in a very quaint and quiet area especially at night. The hotel is housed in a row of buildings dating back to the 1300s. The hotel’s interior is very light and modern, however, and its back terrace looks out upon Petrin Park.
We took a chance and reserved the “Good Luck Room” which leads to an automatic upgrade upon arrival if a more upscale room is available. We were indeed lucky and upgraded to a Deluxe room. It was very light, clean and spacious.
Overall fantastic service from airport pick-up to airport drop-off. Friendly yet unobtrusive, helpful staff; ample, well-presented breakfast; exceptional value for money. Very comfortable and homey experience.

Bruce L

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. Small but very clean room. Mini bar prices quite reasonable compared to other places. Insure you check with staff for recommended restaurants in area and booking a best of Prague tour. Wonderful views and tranquility from the terraces attached to the rooms. Recommend using hotel provided transfer if you arrive by rail or air.

Great room, very good service.

Excellent! Nice and quiet.

We've just returned from a wet but wonderful long weekend in Prague. The rain did not dampen our enjoyment of this beautiful city. Our stay started with a friendly and efficient pickup from the airport arranged through the hotel, and the welcome when we arrived was extremely friendly and attentive (our thanks to Kamila and all the other staff we met). We had the deluxe room (number 5) which was just as described and pictured with a view over the park and city. Room was clean with a well appointed mini bar. I would have preferred a proper shower but my wife enjoyed the corner bath (which had a shower attachment) and the bathroom was a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and buffet breakfast had a wide range of choice, including local breads, and we would recommend. The hotel is near the castle but in a quiet area away from the main city, which was just what we wanted. Overall we found Prague to be good value, with good friendly service everywhere we went.

Thank you very much for your kind hospitality. everything perfect!

Emilie and Vincent, France

Domus Henrici is a truly hidden treasure - perfect room, perfect location, perfect view, perfect breakfast, perfect staff. Thank you for everything, we will never forget it!

Laura, USA

Everything was perfect! Lovely room, lovely view, lovely (helpful) staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay at Domus Henrici. My room (an upgrade) was clean, spacious and well furnished, with a view over the valley. The hotel is enough out of the way to provide a quiet night but easy to catch a tram to anywhere else. The staff could not have been kinder and more responsive.

Kamila and Leo, USA

Domus Henrici is an excellent addition to an unforgottable Prague experience!

Wonderful 4 days, excellent hotel and wonderful staff.

This hotel is incredibly charming and inviting. The room was comfortable and the gorgeous terraces opened up to a phenomenal view. The location is very convenient, just steps away from the castle. The staff was accommodating and attentive. Not a bad thing to say about this place. Highly recommend.

We are from Belgium and we come to Prague every year. Our favorite hotel is Domus Henrici Boutique Hotel. Superb location. Super friendly staff. They make you feel welcome ! The breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms are spacious, most of them with a great view ( number 5 and 6 ). A great price / value. We love it !

All well, thank you! Nice room, terrace, good beds, breakfast, nice staff. Everything fine.

We returned from Prague and stayed five days at Domus Henrici. This charming hotel is located near the Prague Castle, the view from the terrace is gorgeous, the rooms are large, tastefully decorated and refined, very comfortable, in short, the dream! A big thank you to Kamila for its hospitality and professionalism that made our stay perfect, we will return. Evelyne and Karim

Located in the calm castle district and close to its important sites. Small and discreet hotel, old building elegantly renovated. My suite was with an ancient vaulted ceiling. The terraces have a marvellous view into the green hills surrounding the old town, which is not further away than 15-25 minutes walking. I felt very well, also thanks to the kind reception lady and her husband, who made the transfers to/from the airport in a pleasant and rapid way. A hotel to be fully recommended!!

Ideal if you are looking for a quiet place. Very close to the castle, the rooms are nice and spacious, the ladies at the front desk are friendly and attentive to your needs, good breakfast and precise transport service to and from the airport. The nearest tram stop 22 is convenient for travel and allows you to avoid the uphill struggle.

Laura J

We only had one night in Prague, and were lucky to have found Domus Henrici Boutique Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive. They helped us find parking, provided all the information we needed to explore the city, made sure our accommodates were ready early, held our luggage after check out so we could continue exploring the city, and more. The room was cozy and warm. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, a night's rest I will never forget! The hotel is also steps away from the castle which was magical. The views from the hotel were stunning - views of the city and hillside were right out our window. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel, ideally located, if the main purpose of the visit - Prague Castle and the surrounding area. City on the other side Vlatava (where there are a lot more restaurants, clubs, etc.) you have to either go by tram or walk about 30 minutes, which, in principle, can be a bonus in Prague is so beautiful walks in any time of year just adorable. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly and ready to meet the guests, if you have any wishes. We stayed in room # 6, this sunny spacious room with great views of Petrin and Strakhovskii cluster (by the way, I recommend a restaurant cluster, they brew great beer) and a large bathroom.

Great hotel, great location, great service. We will come back!

A fantastic hotel in a fantastic city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Thibatult  K

The room is spacious and well equipped. The decor is very nice and the housekeeping is impeccable. The bathroom has a large corner bath also very comfortable! It takes about 30 minutes walk to reach it, and the return is uphill! The area is very peaceful and beautiful, and the park is 5 minutes away, so it was not a problem for us. The receptionist spoke French well enough, which can be an advantage if you do not speak English.

A fairly large bed and breakfast with a friendly staff and good breakfast. Since Prague is not known for service or food, this was a big plus. The staff will help you a little to find some nice concerts, tours or even bus passes and the mini bar in the room has great prices.

Being a regular visitor of Prague (mainly business), I have been searching for quite a while to find that particular hotel which offers "home away from home" quality combined with good value for money. Domus Henrici combines all these qualities brilliantly. Situated slightly away from the old town (which is a big plus for me) it offers splendid tranquility. The rooms are excellent: nicely decorated, very spacious, with all comfort one could ask for. The service is absolutely excellent and the breakfast is up to the high standard. I can highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel, provided there's a room available whenever I am in town! :-)

We felt very well at Domus Henrici. Thank you for great service!

This was a great experience. The Hotel had given me a warm welcome when booking and that warm welcome stayed until I left.
The place itself is great too, good views, fine and complete breakfast. A minute away from the castle and in 10 minutes you are down town.
The staff is very helpful, friendly etc. i can continue to write nice things. I've stayed in several hotels in different countries, but this is the best value you can get.
So, don't think but book:-)

We had a fabulous time here in Prague and ejoyed our stay at Domus Henrici. The room was beautiful and kept very clean for us. Martina was very heloful and pleasant. She got us whatever we need and answered our questions. The entire staff and city were welcoming to us visitors. We hope to come back again soon.

Thank you for your welcome. Magdalena was so helpful, you were recemmended by  "le guide du routard" and we are not disappointed.

We lucked out with the Domus Henrici hotel. It is a beautiful hotel with a 'small town feel' to it with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotet is a comfortable walk to the old city and so close to the castle. Our room was very spacious and clean; it felt like a little appartment. The room also had an amazing view of the hills and the tower up from the old town. Breakfast was good and located in a quaint diing room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was that there wasn’t enough time to see more of the wonderful city. We will have to return to the city and I would definately stay at this hotel again.

Paul, Netherlands

Great hotel! Very nice staff and nice rooms. Thanks!

We had amazing days in Prague and we were really happy to stay at Domus Henrici! The staff was really nice, friendly and helpful! The room we got was clean, big and very cozy!
The place and the surrounding was really great and we loved to walk up/down the hill in the mornings and evenings. A quiet place with beautiful view and perfect service!

We are really happy we have chosen this hotel! We appreciated the the staff, Martina and Kamila. We will come back!

It´s excellent! We enjoye the stay and are really in love with Prague. Thank you and best wishes in 2014!

This small town house has beautiful balconies on which one can sit and work or smoke. The view is to the green hills just outside of town center.

On the other side one exits the hotel and finds oneself almost in front of the Prague Castle.

The only negative for tourists is that the breakfast has cold food items only and no hot foods. That which exists is good.

Nicole B

I have been at the hotel for 2 nights and I really loved it. The room was clean, breakfas was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is near the castle and only with a walk of 5 minutes, you can enjoy a wonderful view over prag.
There is also a Tram station near the hotel if you don't want to walk the whole way down to the city.
I had my birthday during the stay and found a letter with birthday wishes from the hotel in our room.
If I will ever come back to Prague, I will choose this hotel again!

Helen R

Don't let the walk up the hill from the bridge put you off. A lovely place to stay away from the crowds yet close to everything. The castle entrance is almost at your doorstep and there are many restaurants and bars around. The girls on reception could not have been more helpful and cheerful.
We had a marvellous room which overlooked the monastery and vineyard. The only negative I can find, (and it is a minor one !), is the bells from the monastery start at 6 and although it is a lovely sound to hear, if you are a light sleeper, it is an early morning wake up.

Ella and Tulla

What a beautiful hide-away in this fantastic city! Martina, Milan and all the other staff were so lovely and welcoming- they made our stay fell like a second homa. We hope to come back to the spacious room with the most brilliant view over the city!

This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are clean, cozy, and beautiful. Each room has a terrace in front of it with a view over a ravine and a park. The staff are fantastically friendly and helpful, and gave us great advice and recommendations, besides arranging pickup from the airport. When booking we were initially a bit worried about the hotel's location, but it turned out to be perfectly situated - a 5 minute walk to the castle and several of Prague's historic churches, and about 20 minutes walking through the old and picturesque embassy district to get to the Carlov bridge. It is situated in a much more scenic location than most prague hotels. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to Prague

Thank you very much for a lovely room and nice welcome.

What a lovely place to sink into when leaving the hectic and touristic Prague! A real hidden place! We really enjoyed our Christmas with you.

Thank you for such a nice stay. Hotel is really nice. We spent great Christmas in Prague.

Most romantic palce in Prague! Very nice staff!

Thank you Martina and your team for these wnderful stay in your hotel and in Prague!

First, they offer a taxi service that picks you up at the airport; the driver is very punctual, speaks good English and is really lovely. Then arrived at the hotel in a very quiet street close to the castle. The room is very spacious, clean with a super huge tub, and a very comfortable bed. Young women at the reception are very smiley and available. Hence, we recommend this hotel to every one of our friends. Enjoy Prague without the flow of tourists. In the evening while returning after a long day of sightseeing, we are glad to be in this haven of peace.

Very nice and cosy hotel, nothing to complain about.
We stayed for two nights in December and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - it is very quiet and yet all sights of Prague Old Town are in comfortable walking distance, if you don't mind walking uphill for some minutes (alternatively you can take the tram no.22, which we did for arrival and departure).

The room was not too big but comfortable and nicely furnished. The mattresses were very good, we slept very well.

Breakfast was nearly perfect with a rich choice, only the coffee was rather weak.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and comfortable. There are very nice terraces with a view to a green hill, it must be nice to sit there in spring or summer!

We can only recommend this hotel and we will surely come back there next time we're in Prague.

Great stay, wonderful time in Prague! Thank you Domus Henrici!

Thanky you all for such a woderful stay in here- absolutely oved the room- warm, spacious, comfortable. Made being in Prague even better!! Very much hope to come back.

very good choice. after reading previous positive comments, i can only give too a very favourable recommendation. my friend and i spent 3 nights in this hotel. the people in charge were welcoming, friendly and helpful. the room was well furnished, cosy and very spacious. as for the location, it s a little bit steep till Charles bridges but distance is reasonable. i will definitely come back to this hotel. great value for money!

Thank you Martina and your team for the 3rd fantastic stay in your hotel! Nothing is too much trouble and rooms are clean, warm and spacious. We hope to see you again!

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is near the castle but so easy to walk to everything or a $5 cab ride to the main square. Breakfast was really nice and the rooms were cozy clean and comfortable. Highly recommend:)

Our criteria for a hotel in Prague included the following- good location, reasonably priced, parking option, breakfast included, and ideally an outdoor area with views where we could sit and enjoy a drink after a long day. After reading several good reports on TA, we chose the Henrici as it ticked all our boxes, and we could not have been more delighted. It’s located within easy walking distance to Prague castle, and while there is ample public transport nearby we chose to walk the many steps to the city centre. The area is unique in that it is quite busy during the day, but extremely quiet after hours, which suited us fine. Even so there were still many great eateries nearby.

The hotel itself is very unassuming from the outside, but the Double Deluxe room we chose (although not cheap by Czech standards), was extremely spacious and light, had great views, was very quiet, and was adjacent to a pleasant outdoor terrace (also with views). Our hosts, Martina & Kamila, could not have been more helpful. Kamila in particular, emptied the contents of her own handbag when we were seeking cold and flu medicine! They were both very knowledgeable about the area, how to get around, where to eat, etc. The breakfast was typically European, with many options to suit all tastes, and set us up for a good day’s sightseeing.

While we were very happy with this hotel, be aware this is a small, unique, boutique style hotel, which may not suit everyone. However, for our needs and budget, it was ideal, and we would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay as a business visitor, 12 months later. It didn't disappoint and was as good as I had remembered. The walk up the steps is a great way to walk off any over indulgence at dinner.

We spent two nights in this hotel and really enjoyed it. Everything was perfect: a warm welcome, a very professional and friendly staff, a very charming and extremely quiet room.
No noise woke us up and we slept perfectly, the bed being very confortable. The room was spacious (an entrance, a big room with a desk, and a large bathroom) and clean.
The continental breakfast is good though classical.
The hotel is close to the castle (5 minutes walk) and up the hill. You'll have then to climb a lot of stairs on your way back from the city centre.
Still, it´s a walkable distance and we do recommend this place

This was a lovely hotel - clean and cozy with big rooms and a great veranda with a nice view. We enjoyed staying in a quieter section of Prague (just a few steps from the castle). That location did come with some challenges, as it is a hike back up the hill after a long day of sight seeing.

This was a birthday present from our children. Room was spacious and great view, the service has been wonderful. We will recommend the hotel to anyone. A lovely stay!

Thank you for our stay, room is incredibly spacious and comfortable. We will recoomend you to our friends and family. Many thanks.

We stayed here back in July and to the staff and management We would like to say a big thankyou. Nothing was to much trouble, the room was excellent and the breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. Please do not be mislead by its location as it is not that far to the castle, transport or to just enjoy the walk in an area away from all the other tourists enjoying this city.

The staff at Domus Henrici is incredibly friendly, every single member. Super close to the palace! They were super nice and we were thrilled at how dog friendly they were since we descended on them with three, yes three dogs- two German shepherd and a Dachshund. The room was nicely appointed, super roomy, which was great for the dogs, and breakfast was really nice as well. They provided wonderful recommendations for dinner. We even ate, with the dogs, in a room where the Czech president and his wife eat! It was wonderful. We truly had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel and go back!

A fantastic find, located in the Castle area. We were after a relaxing weekend away and this hotel offers it, set overlooking the monastery hillside and just a few metres from the castle buildings. Great breakfasts and the owners kindly offered us a late checkout which helped given our flight time.

A friend of mine suggested this hotel and we couldn't have been happier! This was close enough to the action to easily access everything and yet away from all the other tourists. It is right by the castle so we got to explore it at 10pm when it was still open and no one was there! We also loved the modern conveniences in a beautiful historical building.
This is our 3 trip to Prague and by far our favorite place

This hotel deserves all the raves reviews! Great location, beautiful scenery and amazing staff! The rooms have everything you need and there's a nice breakfast waiting to get you started for the miles you are going to walk! The tram is close by for those that don't want to trek back up after spending the day in town. There are some very nice places close by for a drink or to eat if you don't want to go far after a long day. If you're not sure, just ask the super helpful staff, they'll point you in the right direction. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others!

We spent magic time in your hotel, very spacious room, pleasant and smiling staff. Thank you!

Wonderful stay, perfect location.

We have had a wonderful stay in Prague, magnificent city. Thank you for the great stay.

We stayed at Henrici for three days and had a great time. Henrici is all you want, perfect located, helpfull staff, clean rooms and excellent value for money. The hotel is located close to one of the top sights, the castle, and from there it's 10 minutes walk down to the old town. Just what you're looking for if you wanna spend a weekend in Prague!

Heather M

The hotel is in a great location, so close to the Prague Castle and yet within walking distance of the Charles Bridge. We also managed to figure out the tram lines and would spend all day walking in the city and take the tram back to our hotel. Loved the atmosphere, off the beaten track, a lovely old building with spacious accommodation. It was quiet and our room looked over fields, forests, lovely homes. The breakfast was great! Staff very friendly. Would recommend the airport pickup offered. Definitely made our stay in Prague all that much more special!

This hotel fully deserves the mostly 5 star reviews. Our room at the back was more like an apartment, very private and plenty of natural light and space and being a period building, full of character. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Location is up in castle area but the old town is within walking distance, around 2.5km. Although period,The hotel had been fully modernised and had everything we needed. In short, one of the best hotels i have stayed in. I can't help but comment on the recent 1 star review and assume the writer thought he was booked into the Intercontinental.

Perfect place, perfect stay!

Wonderful feel here. Welcome on arrival was nice. Great location, comfortable rooms, all service is excellent. Wonderful people here in Prague. I reccomend this hotel for future travel to Prague. Thanks so much.

I loved Domus Henrici and Prague.

We spent our 50th anniversary here and it was the perfect place. The staff were all wonderful and helped us so much. We thank them all.

Just spent a week at this delightful little gem near Prague Castle! If you want to feel like you are “in Prague” and not some “anywhere in the world generic hotel room” you must stay here. The origins of the building date back centuries, and a small number of rooms have been carved out along with expansive terraces that overlook Prague. Martina and Milan and their staff could not have been more welcoming. We slept great, ate great (breakfast included in the very reasonable pricing) and were treated great. One day we asked for an early wake up call for the next morning because we were going on a day trip. Without missing a beat the delightful young lady at reception immediately volunteered to have their complete breakfast service ready a full hour early so we could eat before we left, and as we had our early breakfast the next day, we were presented with two “to go” lunches with sandwiches and fruit for the trip! We would highly recommend staying here.

Our first visit to Prague will not be the last. Thanks to the wonderful staff. This hotel is quiet heaven from the busy streets of Prague.

The Henrici is across the river from the old town. It is a 15 minute walk into the old town. We loved the walk and loved the quiet of our location. We are right near the Monistery and the Castle. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room and bathroom were large. Plenty of space

To all the staff I have met here I say a sincere very Big Thank you. Without exception you have all been extremely helpful and welcoming. I will reccomend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Lucie is one of the nicest receptionist I have ever met. She is a reason why to come back. Lucie rocks!

I found this hotel on trip advisor and made it a destination. Was not disappointed at all! You really have to see the neighbourhood to believe it. Steps to the Castle? Yup, literally steps... The hotel sits on the side of a massive "town square" with nary a car in sight. Very quiet, very old world, very European. It was a wonderful experience, great view, great neighbourhood, and really great price. Loved it!!

It has been a very pleasant visit. The most special with lovely staff here. We will sure reccomend this hotel to our friends and we hope to be back.

This is a great hotel, the best we have ever stayed in. Our room was perfect and the view was amazing. We had breakfast on the terrace, looking out over Petrin park. So beautiful! It was very hot when we were there and all their fans were in use. But Kamila came to the rescue and got one for us the next day : ) Great location away from city centre, but just a short walk to all the sights. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Prague is gorgeous city, Domus Henrici hotel  is really comfortable, very friendly and attentative staff. It was our pleasure.

We stayed 3 nights in August. It is in a great position near a monastery famous for its library and brewery, and to the huge palace complex. it is a 10 minute walk to the Lesser Town area. Trams are close and easy to navigate.

The staff, Michaela and Camila, were terrific before, during and after our stay (we left something behind). The room was spacious and very clean, with a terrace that has lovely views towards the hills. Breakfast buffet was generous and tasty.

Like everything in Prague, accommodation is expensive. Domus Henrici is reasonable value by comparison.

We loved this hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we stayed in room 5 which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in great location near Prague castle, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but just a short walk to all the main sights and to wander into the centre in the evening. The area around the hotel is very pretty and has a good selection of restaurants. Once the crowds have left the castle in the evening the area is very peaceful and is great just to wander about enjoying the impressive castle and St Vitus cathederal. The breakfast buffet was was good and set us up well for a hard days sightseeing.
If you you are looking to visit the beautiful city of Prague l recommend this hotel.

If you are coming to Prague, stop researching hotels--you found the WINNER!

We stayed here for six nights and LOVED it!!! The location is great--in the castle district and walking distance to Prague Castle. We had room 8 and the view was spectacular from the terrace. Everyone who works at HD is so helpful, from tram advice, to day trip advice, to airport transfer. From this location you can walk anywhere or jump on a tram if you are going a long distance. We found the walk up each night refreshing as you can see all of Prague sparkling below you.

The hotel booked an evening of music for us, you can purchase tram tickets from them, and they even looked up train information for our day trips. Makes purchasing easy and they can steer you in the right direction on what shows are worth it and what are not.

Breakfast is included. You can enjoy it in the breakfast room or on the terrace. The rooms are nice with hard wood floors, curved ceilings and large bathrooms. You have plenty of space to lounge around. The water pressure is excellent and the water is super hot. Everything you need after a day of sightseeing in this beautiful city.

I love this place and do NOT want to leave!!! Do yourself a favor and stay here! You'll love it!

Oh, and get the airport transfer if you are flying in and out of Prague. Makes things easy both coming and going.

Nice hotel in great location. Warm attitude. Thank you !

Amazing stay- beautiful room with a gorgeous view. We will be back!

We loved this hotel. The room was a nice size, staff very helpful, and breakfast was good with a nice selection. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and loved the view. It is near the Prague Castle and we walked from here all over Prague. The walk back up is fun and we rarely took the tram back up. Down by the Charles Bridge and Old Town/New Town it is very busy and loud with people and this was so nice to come back to at night. Make sure to get your bearings from the tram as it is easy to get lost in the dark. Prague is a great city and I would definitely stay here again on the next visit.

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly and quiet location. Breakfast simple but good. Best part was its location to the most beautiful and quiet section in Prague. Was a bit tricky to get to but once there it was walking distance to many places.

My wife and I stayed at the Domus Henrici from 11.8 to 15.8 2013. We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel, and the service from the staff. Very helpful, all the way from the hotels taxi driver to the other staff. Big and nice room (we had the deluxe room), and a wonderful view from the terrace. Quiet at night, and very good placement to the castle. Walking distance to the old town. Again: Very nice days in Prague, and a very good hotel!

Lovely stay, great place, kind help. Thanks.

Great position in Castle area in Prague. It gets very quiet in the evening, providing exclusive access to some of Pragues most beautiful Buildings. The views of the city and surrounding areas are exceptional, but the best thing about DH is the exceptional Customer Service we received from the Staff. Seasoned World Traveller gives this Hotel a 5*+. The hotel also offer an excellent Airport collection service. The driver (Milan) is prompt, informative and extremely courteous. My best Prague experience, Excellent!

nice hotel with large rooms in splendid city.  Unforgottable memories!

We stayed with Domus Henrici on the first step of our whirlwind European tour. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The room we had was very spacious, very clean and had fantastic view across the valley.

The girl on reception was a wealth of information, giving us valuable tips on where to go and what to see. Everyone was friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.
Prague must be one of our favorite destinations and we will be back to stay with Domus Henrici.

Kevin and Trisha

Lovely hotel with great views. The girls on reception have been so helpful. We will be back, that is for sure. Thank you!

Everything a hotel should be. Great location - walk out the front door and you are two minutes from Prague Castle, yet overlook a lovely garden and park out the back. Our room was large, quiet, spotlessly clean, and adjoined a small terrace. Breakfast was fresh with lots of options, and included excellent coffee. The desk clerks were always helpful, no matter the question or request, and spoke idiomatic English. It was wonderful having the hotel driver, who efficiently and politely transported us to and from the airport, and was willing to drive us anywhere in the city and surroundings. There was also great access to Prague's wonderful public transportation. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Prague!

This is a gem in the castle district of Prague. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to please and help in any way you needed. When I checked in the lady at the front desk made sure not to let me step out the door without showing me key locations on the map, telling me the exchange rate, and giving me tips on where to eat!

The room was nice, and t
