Nice place and easy to find. Good car park facility and very near to the castle at 300 m walk. You could feel the traditional atmosphere. The hotel was vey nice. Nice room with an view and good beds and stuff. Breakfast was ok and sufficient. Staff was extremely helpful . We will come back here. Very good price / quality ratio.thanx for the hospitality

This is a fantastic find right next to Prague castle and it is difficult to fault given the price we paid. The building itself is old; big thick stone wall and vaulted ceilings, but it has been well restored and decorated. The room we had was huge with a great view, perfectly clean, lovely fresh crisp linen and towels. Huge bath and a great terrace. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are coming from the airport then it is probably best to take a taxi, 22 euros if you take the hotel taxi. The number 22 tram will take you to the top of the hill and it is a short walk to the hotel from there. If you come by car then there is parking nearby, a short walk to parking areas outside the blue zone if you don't want to pay.

We were recommended this hotel by family who visited before Christmas and we weren't disappointed :) We were in room five which is fantastic. It's very large with an incredibly comfortable bed and fantastic view out towards the mini Eiffel Tower. The location is very close to the castle region. There's a bit of a walk to get down to the Charles Bridge from the hotel (maybe 15 mins but didn't time it) which is a bit of an uphill trek on the way back but no real problem. You can use a tram apparently too. We loved that the position meant we were in a region we probably wouldn't have explored so much otherwise. The views of Prague if you walk towards the monastery are fantastic. Breakfast is probably the only slight downer but that is mainly me being picky :) I would have preferred fresh cut fruit and better quality juice for instance, but it didn't really impact on what was overall a great stay. We used the airport transfer which is prompt and made the to and from journeys that little bit easier. We would definitely return if we were revisiting Prague and have already recommended it on.

The hotel is small, clean, everything works fine. The room is huge and the view is very beautiful. The staff is very friedly and make you feel at home. It stays five minutes from Prague Castle and even Nove Mesto you can reach walking. I highly recommend this hotel.

I can't think of anything negative about this hotel. The location, the rooms, the balcony, the price, the staff, everything was so great. It was very romantic and the hotel was actually one of the highlights of our trip. It is a very small hotel too which is nice.

We booked this hotel based on all of the positive reviews we saw here on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed! The hotel staff was extremely friendly, and to our delight--spoke excellent English! They provided recommendations for places to eat and where to exchange money. The hotel room itself was much larger than rooms I had stayed in before in Europe, so we had access to a large bathroom and even a little office area. The view was also amazing--we were at the top of the hill in Prague and had gorgeous views of the city below. We also really enjoyed that the hotel was so close to both the Castle and that the Old Town area was a reasonable walk (10-15 minutes). The breakfast was simple, but delicious. Overall, I have no complaints and highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the city!

My husband and I could not have been made to feel more welcome by the friendly staff. The room had everything we needed - clean, modern, and with all the amenities.

The all-inclusive breakfast was not only delicious with great variety, but very much needed to get our day started! We took advantage of the airport pickup service, and the driver Milan was very friendly and helpful, which made our entry into Prague that much easier. The hotel is just a few minutes from the popular Nerudova street that takes you straight into the heart of Prague, and it's incredibly scenic. Similarly, it's just a few minutes from Prague Castle! We would stay here again without a doubt.

The Domus Henrici is a charming inn located just steps away from the Prague Castle and the St. Vitus Cathedral and safely away from the tourist crowds. This small hotel has only eight rooms, but all are well-appointed. Our room, Number 7, is a suite, with hardwood floors, large living room, spacious bedroom, and ample bathroom. Both the bedroom and living room have large windows which open onto the adjoining terrace, with views of a monastery and Prague's replica of the Eiffel Tower. While there, we met an extended family from England who had rented the other seven rooms for a long weekend. Apparently, certain family members were repeat guests who, after experiencing other Prague hotels, established the Domus Henrici as their solid preference. The service was exemplary, including reasonably priced travel to and from the Prague airport. We hope to return again soon.

This is a small hotel employing attentive staff who do their utmost to make your stay a relaxing one. We booked online direct with the hotel and paid in Euros, staying 4 nights in early December. It offers a peaceful haven just a short walk from the restaurants and shops of upper Mala Stransa.

The building appears to date from 1372 and is situated in the castle area, which is the official residence and office of the President of the Czech Republic. The area is also the location of the Foreign Ministry and many foreign embassies.

Decor is modern but hopefully not trendy; polished wooden floors with rugs and furniture inspired by Rennie Mackintosh. Amenities in the room were excellent i.e. bed linen, towels, TV, wifi, mini bar, hot drink preparation, bath robes etc. For those who travel without an iPad, there is a PC adjacent to the reception area and breakfast room. Breakfast is continental including cereals, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, salad, fruit, breads and pastries. Omelettes are freshly prepared.

If we ever visit Prague again, the Domus Henrici will be our first choice.

Very comfortable boutique-sized hotel in Prag's most beautyfull distict. Lovely suite, modern design meets antique atmosphere. Breakfast served in a room that makes you feel at home. Friendliest and most helpfull service at reception office; everything well organized - parking, restaurant-reservation, tram-tickets and late check-out - no problem for these charming young ladies. Prag turns out to be one of the most fascinating cities in Europe - and Domus Henrici is the best place to experience!

Gorgeous views, seriously, stay here - it's worth the walk up the hill! Rooms are huge and overall, great value. Staff and rooms were excellent - only place where there is room for improvement is the breakfast (which was adequate, but not incredible). Still, when you get to eat on a terrace overlooking one of the most beautiful cities in the world, who's complaining? :)

I booked Domus Henrici for my parents to celebrate their wedding anniversary in August. According to photos on their web pages I decided to choose DeLuxe room, which looks lovely and promising best view. The truth was the view was breathtaking. Rooms are very cosy and beautiful so is also big terrace where you can enjoy your drink. Breakfast is every day the same but for what I heard from my parents it is delicious and you can choose from many kinds of cereals, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, eggs and much more. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered my parents to park the car in a guarded parking place 3 minutes walking distance from hotel for a small fee, which my dad really appreciate. The hotel is located in very center of Prague, next to the Prague castle and most of the sightseeing but it is not noisy there at all. It is definitely the most romantic place I could found. Happy my parents totally enjoyed their stay!

This is a lovely hotel, very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views and a great location. Staff was extremely helpful, the room was spacious and lovely. Breakfast included which is more than adequate. It is a bit of a walk and up the hill but its very easy to take the tram one block away if you don't want to walk. Within a block or two of Prague Castle, really lovely location and hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Domus Henrici. The hotel is charming and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with very tasteful furnishings. Very nice bathroom. We had a great view (room 6). The breakfast was tasty and nicely presented, in a lovely room.
The castle area is very quiet at night but we liked that after a day of crowds in central Prague. This felt like living in a different era. We even appreciated the walk up the hill as it punctuated the specialness of the location. The views and experiencing the area at night were wonderful.

Domus Henrici is perhaps one of the best hotels in entire Europe. Location wise this is the perfect stay for someone who wants to enjoy the city during the day and night. First, you are right next to the bridge and second, everything else is just next to the hotel. No need to take trams or taxis, just relax and enjoy the day life and the nightlife by walking around.
Service at the hotel is just exceptional. We were greeted by this girl who was exceptionally well trained to ask the right questions as soon as you walk into this property. Before we could ask for our parking card, it was ready at her desk. She was ready with keys and almost all the paper work to sign in and relax.
Rooms are as usual phenomenal. We earlier stayed at the old town Domus hotel next to the castle and were blown away by the room size and service. The set expectations in our mind was high but this hotel even beat that! The rooms were spacious, it had fans (just in case), a good sitting area and big enough to accommodate even 2 extra people!
The breakfast in the mornings was just apt. Supposedly the hotel is attached to this breakfast place which is among the best in entire Prague - they had lovely freshly cooked eggs, fruits which were bio and yogurt and usual European breakfast lineup.
The place was perfect for relaxing after entire days of walk around the city. It was the best value hotel I have ever lived in. My personal thanks to the manager and staff for keeping their standards amongst the best in the world!

I can't say enough good about this hotel. As it was our first time in Prague, we weren't too sure how the location would work out, but it turned out to have some great benefits.

For starters, the staff here is very friendly and helpful. From the moment we showed up with our car double parked down the street, booking the reservation online only minutes before, we were quickly taken care of. The woman at the front desk immediately arranged secured parking for our car, and helped us with our luggage. Knowing that the car was secure, we were able to relax and enjoy the stay. The balconies outside of the rooms have a beautiful view of Prague, and the rooms themselves were very clean and modernized, despite the wonderful age of the building.

Now back to the location. At first, it seems right in the middle of the touristy area near the Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, which it is, but it makes a great starting point to begin your days sightseeing. Where the location shines however is when you return later in the evening. After 6pm, once the attractions nearby close, all of the tourists scurry off to other parts of the city, leaving a quiet, quaint old area with great little restaurants and very little noise. The greatest advantage of staying here however, is being able to take a quick ten minute walk back to the Cathedral and see it lit up at night with very few people around. It was a great experience.

The following morning, the breakfast was excellent, making a great start to our day before we packed up and headed off to our next destination.

I want to thank everyone at Hotel Domus Henrici for making our stay in Prague memorable and stress free. Hopefully I'll be able to return to this beautiful city again when I can spend more time, and I'll definitely be staying at this hotel!

This was a very good experience. Camilla and Lucy were exceptional at making sure all our needs were met. The hotel is nice amd quiet. The area is perfect. The castle is only 200ft away and its an easy 10 min walk down to charles bridge. This place is truly a hidden gem and I plan on returning soon!

Stayed in Prague for 3 days and this place has the Prefect location to all the main tourist attractions. It is on walking distance to castles, restaurants, bridges and more. Rooms are clean, people are super friendly and helpful; did I mention breakfast is always free. The floors do squeak when you walk around the room, but the place is super clean and the view is amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone that visits Prague

We booked this hotel via the app Hotel tonight, because our plane arrived in late evening and we needed to some hotel for one night in Prague. We didn't know about this hotel before we used the app! The hotel is absolutelly wonderfull and charming!!! We absolutely recommend it. There is nothing to complain about it. Very warm welcome and the staff were so friendly :) The breakfast , which was already included in price, was very delicious also.

perfect, silent location, very friendly personel, tasty breakfest. It's difficult to complain. I can recommend this hotel for a short as well as long stay in Prague. You should be prepared for a long up-hill return from the old-town area unless you take a taxi. The hotel is located practically on the highest point of Prague.

We just spent three nights at Domus Henrici and loved the experience. The hotel is very charming and clean, and the staff is extremely helpful, kind, and patient. It is on the hill by the castle, so all the crowds leave when the castle closes. The area then is very quiet, and there are several nice restaurants within easy, safe walking distance. The driver they provided, Milan, was also extremely helpful and informative and made travel to and from train station and airport easy and comfortable.

We booked room 6 at this hotel based on TA reviews, we were not disappointed. Location is in the Castle area (5 mins stroll) and so it will be downhill into the main town and uphill at the end of the day.
Room is excellent, large with huge double bed (which was firm but that's how I like it), small flat screen TV, large bathroom (corner style bath with shower over) and entrance area with wardrobe. This room is at the back of the property so was wonderfully quiet with views to the woods / fields and the Petrin tower above and across Prague to the left. Windows all opened for fresh air. The shared areas of the hotel are clean, tidy - breakfast room is spacious considering the small number of rooms here - it was never busy. There are also two terraces to sit on / breakfast at but it wasn't quite warm enough when we were there. The breakfast was good but not great - no warm option and more pastries would have been nice. This is a small point however and combined with the friendly service made this feel a special place to be for what we thought was a good value price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we visit and would recommend to anyone. Tip: get tram 22 to the top of the street when returning to the hotel at the end of the day and definitely request room 6 (unless I am there too!)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is at the top of the hill next to Prague Castle which means lots of stairs to navigate each day. Our room was very spacious. The breakfast was excellent and a lovely view from their patio. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff could not be more helpful, the room was lovely, breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the location is wonderful. My husband had stayed. 12 years earlier, and the place was even better than he remembered.

Domus Henrici is located near Prague Castle on a the hill overlooking Prague. The place is tiny and the staff very attentive. Our room was very comfortable and we were sorry to have to leave. We had an early morning flight and they even prepared breakfast for us to take to the airport.

The only caveat is that there are stairs and it is outdoors to get to some of the rooms. So if that is an issue ask what room you will get in advance.

OK so it is on top of the hill next to Prague Castle so to get down to the centre and back involves some steps (unless you take the 22 tram) but we loved the exercise, we loved the location, we loved the way the rooms are down the side of the hill, we loved the staff (Kamilla you made our stay with your happiness and "nothing too much trouble attitude", Only 8 rooms so never crowded.

Perfect place to stay! It's all very neat and comfortable and the staff is lovely. Make sure to enjoy a quiet cup of tea on the sunny terrace. The hotel's location is also excellent, although a bit of a hike up to the castle, if you're on foot.
